Entrepreneurship and Innovation Resources in New Mexico
In this webinar, NM EPSCoR will announce the launch of its Certificate Training in Entrepreneurship in partnership with the University of New Mexico (UNM) Rainforest Innovations and Innovation Academy. Additionally, representatives from UNM Rainforest Innovations, New Mexico State University (NMSU) Arrowhead Center, and the New Mexico Tech (NMT) Office of Innovation Commercialization will provide an overview of the many programs available to New Mexico students and faculty engaged in research to explore technology development and transfer.

Dr. Robert G. (Rob) DelCampo
Executive Director of the University of New Mexico Innovation Academy
Dr. Robert G. (Rob) DelCampo, is the inaugural Executive Director of the University of New Mexico Innovation Academy and current Interim Dean of University College at the University of New Mexico. Rob has strong roots in New Mexico and the University of New Mexico Community. He grew up in Las Cruces, graduating from Las Cruces High School before moving to Albuquerque to attend UNM. He holds both MBA and undergraduate degrees from UNM and earned a Ph.D. from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ in 2004. Rob holds the rank of Full Professor and been a proud member of the Anderson faculty for over a decade and served as Associate Dean from 2012-2015. As Associate Dean, Rob has overseen many successes, including the development and implementation of a new and innovative MBA curriculum and a very successful Hispanic Leadership Development Program in collaboration with the Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce.
Kathy Hansen
Director of Arrowhead Center @NMSU
Kathy Hansen serves as Director of Arrowhead Center at NMSU and Chief Executive Officer of Arrowhead Center, Inc. She has extensive experience in entrepreneurship education and training, business development and operations, and technology commercialization. Kathy currently leads Arrowhead’s efforts in entrepreneurship and innovation, focused on technology commercialization, student entrepreneurship, starting and growing businesses and creating public-private partnerships. She provides direction for Arrowhead Center programs, initiatives, strategies, goals, and performance in support of the organization’s mission; leads development of public-private partnerships for economic development; champions new business development opportunities; provides management oversight of programs, products, and services; and develops and monitors operational and programmatic budgets.
